Many people focus and waste energy on the “uncontrollables” in life when they are stressed out (weather, traffic, other people’s actions, etc).
One strategy that's helped me is to focus on the the “controllables” instead (how you treat others, your attitude, what you consume, etc).
Next time you’re stressed out, think about why you’re stressed: what you can't do about it and what you can do about it?
Remember: everything in life is based on perspective
