I was a sophomore in high school when I attended a youth leadership conference. It was that moment I decided I wanted to be a keynote speaker when I grew older.
Fast forward years later, the same conference reached out to me and asked to be their keynote speaker. It's amazing how the circle comes around.
I believe empowering the youth is critical in today's era. I'm a strong believer that your environment shapes who you are as a person and points you in the direction on what you should pursue in life. Especially at a young age where students are pressured by conformity, they need to surround themselves with positive people that will share lessons they wished they knew when they were that age. It starts with providing them tools so they can build towards the future they deserve.
As Nelson Mendela said, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
